Moataz El fegiery

Dr. Moataz El Fegiery is assistant professor and head of human rights program at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He served as a senior teaching fellow of law at SOAS and was the executive director of Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies.  El Fegiery represented key international human rights NGOs including the international centre for Transitional justice and International Foundation for the protection of Human Rights Defenders and was elected as the treasurer and member of the executive committee of the Euro Mediterranean Human Rights Network since 2006. He obtained his MA and Ph.D. in Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
