Jamil Mouawad

Jamil Mouawad holds a PhD in politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). He is a research associate at the Institut Français du Proche Orient - Beirut, and a regular commentator on Lebanese and Middle East politics. His major focus is on the nature of state in divided societies. He has done extensive work on electoral reform while he was working at the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS) from 2005 to 2009.
