Marta Gil

Marta Gil is Deputy Head of the Access to Justice for Children & Youth programme at Terre des Hommes Foundation (Switzerland).

She is a dedicated international professional and passionate child rights and gender advocate working over 17 years towards lasting social change. She has worked for and collaborated with governments, law firms, academic institutions (USJ Lebanon, Leiden University in the Child Rights Master, UCLY Lyon, etc.), (I)NGOs (ECPAT, Oxfam, Tdh, ActionAid), UN agencies (UNICEF & UN WOMEN), and international justice mechanisms (European Court of Human Rights, expert collaboration with the ICC), supporting efforts towards ensuring the welfare and protection of vulnerated groups -particularly women, children, and youth- across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and MENA regions. She has been teaching with the Arab Master’s Programme since 2019.
